Kenyn "James" Brown is a recording and performing musician, producer, and music writer both on drums/percussion and piano. He is also a DJ for many events in the St.Louis area.

Kenyn has been playing drums since he was 10 and hasn't looked back. Starting in the St.Louis, MO area, Kenyn would start his growth and education of music in school, church, and small music groups.
His unique open handed style sets him apart from other percussionists.
Kenyn has played all over the world from St. Louis to Nashville and Chattanooga, even in multiple cities in Europe. He has taken lessons and master classes from the best of the best in the music world such as Lalo Davila, James Campbell, Robert "Sput" Searight, Ron Carter, Roy "Furtureman" Wooten, and much more. He has been apart of many music projects with names such as Curtis Bridgeman, Lloyd Nicks, Kingly, and more.
While earning his music degree at Lee University, he studied with Dr.Andy Harnsberger in percussion studies. He also studied and performed under the direction or Dr.David Holsinger, Alan Wyatt, and many more.
He now resides back in St.Louis Missouri where he is the Music/Production Director at Twin Rivers Church. He is married to the love of his life Des and they have two sweet girls: Brecklee and Kyndall
